Native to Europe, Robinia wood is strong, durable, flexible and particularly ideal for use in playgrounds. Because it doesn’t grow straight, it takes on curved shapes, perfect for designing unique wooden play modules. Its granular structure, raw tree trunks and handcrafted appearance underline the playground’s natural feel. Robinia wood has a high content of natural preservatives, such as tannic acid, which do not require any treatment. What’s more, its dense composition makes it highly resistant to splintering, moisture damage and water permeating the wood.
